Used for the first time in a friendly match against England earlier
this month, the Brazil national football team is now decked in yet another new
home jersey by Nike Football. Draped in the team’s signature yellow and green
color scheme, the new kit somehow reminded me of classic football jerseys especially
its collar design as well as its minimalism nature.
Nevertheless, it is still a modern jersey after all with the inclusion
of features such as laser venting, bonded seams, hemline vents and Dri-FIT
technology in order to provide performance benefits for modern football
players. As usual, the jersey is matched together with a blue shorts, and white
socks with green trim.
Just like our own Harimau Malaya's jersey, the new Brazil’s home jersey’s
fabric is 23 percent lighter with 20 percent stronger knit structure than
Nike’s previous kits. Not to forget, both of the kit’s jersey and shorts are
also made from up to 100-percent recycled polyester with an average of 13
recycled plastic bottle for each set of jersey and shorts.
Fans are able to get their hands on the latest Brazil’s home and away kit as
well as the accompanying CBD lifestyle collection - inspired by the team that
won the 1962 World Cup – immediately at their nearest Nike Stores throughout
the country. To learn more, check out www.facebook.com/NikeFootballMY
