Those who
in the know most probably have been aware of Hundred% for the longest time but
for those who doesn’t, well…it’s one of the most prominent streetwear retailer
in Kuala Lumpur, to say the least.
Last week,
the store has launched a rather interesting project called the AF1 Theory which
revolves around sneaker customization and as the name implies, the focus of the
project is the iconic Nike Air Force 1. However, it is not just any AF1 model.
The exact
subject for the AF1 Theory project is the white on white 2014 Lunar Force 1
with ice blue sole, nicknamed “White Ice” (shown above). To kick things off,
Hundred% has roped in a group movers and shakers in the Malaysian streetwear,
fasion and art scene to showcase their talent on the shoe for the launch event
of AF1 Theory.
With so
much talents on board, the results were certainly nothing short of amazing: 27 pairs
of customized Lunar Force 1, each distinctly different from each other. Just
take a look at them yourself as well as a brief biodata of each collaborators through the gallery below to see what I mean:
But of
course, the AF1 Theory project by Hundred% is more than just a showcase of
these talented giants from the local scene since Hundred% is now looking anyone
out there that have a penchant for shoe customization to participate in the
project. If you good enough, you might end up with one year worth of sneakers
supply from Hundred%.
