[#musicmonday] Uptown Funk by Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars

With the super funky melody and golden voice that Bruno Mars has, Uptown Funk is one of those “perfect” radio song that my ears needed in the era where too many songs on the radio are singing about asses.

However, there’s one particular part of the lyrics that really got my attention.

“Don’t believe me, just watch.”

Because I always found myself in a situation that concluded in my saying that very sentence. I mean, I’m not necessarily right all the time (in fact, I’m wrong most of the time) but when the situation just ngam2 aligned with what I said, it just damn satisfying to know that I was right on the dot.

Mmm hmm.
